On plates
of various types of material the "Fiorettatrici Ronzani"
automatic grinders carry out the special overlapped and crossed
circular buffing finish known as "fiorettatura" (flower
embossing) or damascening or marbling. Another type of finish
is also available, that of longitudinal strip grinding, which
we call "a fasce" (in strips).
The "Fiorettatrici Ronzani" automatic grinders come
in several different versions: with rollers ("A Rulli"),
with feeder ("Ad Alimentatore"), combined ("Combi")
and bench ("A Banco"). What mainly distinguishes them
is how they move the plate: intermittently for the roller and
feeder series, continuously for the combined series and without
moving the plate for the bench series.

What all the versions have in common is the units of work. The
working width ranges from 250 mm to 500 mm which, combining
the versions and using or exclu-ding two or more units, gives
a working width equal to plate standard measures of 1,000, 1,250,
1,500 and 2,000 mm. The centre distance of the spindles can
be 60 or 50 mm on to which grinding wheels with a diameter of
60, 50 ,40 or 30 mm can be assembled.
The roller and combined series may be used to tenter the protective
film, either at the same time as the flower embossing or to
plastify the plates.
These versions come with a suction hood to clean the plate before
the protec-tive film is applied.
Each machine can work with or without loaded and unloaded rollers
and can be supplied with systems to move the plate, an automatic
film cutter and suction and ventilation systems to clean and
cool the plates.
