Family business founded by Angelo Ronzani together with his son Franco Ronzani in 1975, including the other son Paolo Ronzani since 1984, nowadays at its third generation thanks to the grandson Roberto.
From 2015 as MECCANICA RONZANI SRL with members Ronzani Franco, Paolo and Roberto.

The company started as a project study for the construction of custom-made industrial automation plants.
From 1989, with the production of the marbling machine for metal sheets, the company adds to the design and construction upon request the production and reselling of its range of products. With the marbling machine, the MECCANICA RONZANI enters the market of the stainless steel metal sheets working. Thanks to the experience in industrial plants design, the company introduces new products for the surface treatment of stainless steel sheets: polishing machines, protective film-applying machines, grinding machines for vessel heads and tanks, planishing machines for seam welds on sheets and tanks, welding machines for dimple jackets for temperature control in the food industry.

Leader in the matket

The company presents itself on the national and international market participating in various exhibitions and trade fairs starting from 1990 with LAMIERA Bologna (Italy), from 2000 with EUROBLECH Hannover (Germany), from 2003 with FABTECH Chicago (USA).
Nowadays MECCANICA RONZANI is the leading company on a national and international scale in a peculiar but ever-growing sector.

MARBLING MACHINE

The marbling decoration, a particular kind of surface circular grinding treatment obtained by a superposed and crossed engraving, has an aesthetic-ornamental function as well as a concealing function for impurities, imperfections, small deformations, and confers homogeneity to stainless steel and aluminium surfaces. Its main use is in tanks construction for wine, milk and oil storage, but not only.

HISTORY

This type of surface treatment dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, when it was executed by hand using a drill, a cork support and abrasive material. The process has changed through the years, but the result is practically the same.

TECHNOLOGY

From 1989 on, hundreds of marbling machines have been built in various models and it is still one of the most representative company’s products of selling. The mechanics and the control of the job steps have undergone important changes. The system has been improved from a basic relay control panel to a programmable logic controller (PLC) with engine and inverters. The ultimate version includes continuous current brushless engines and computer numerical control (CNC).

Through all this time the company has gained the valuable know-how in surface treatment that has made possible the development of very innovative solutions such as the ALROX Design Panels.

A new period for the company

From this expertise the company starts a new period, the production and sales of a new product, metal sheets of various materials with special surface finishes. The decorations have a three-dimensional and dynamic optical effect, the reflection of which changes with the position of the observer and the light. These panels are employed in the field of furniture, showrooms, elevator cars, ceiling and column coverings, and many others.
